•    Freshness: Products should be delivered fresh, with minimal processing to maintain natural flavors and nutritional value.
•    Artisanal Products: Offer a range of artisanal products such as small batch & handmade cheeses, cured meats, naturally fermented craft foods and beverages.
•    Innovation: Promoting product innovation in foods systems that create efficiencies and improvements yet are congruent with Essential Primals LLP’s core values.

  • Natural and Organic: All meat, dairy and plant products must be produced with organic standards or naturally produced without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, or growth hormones.

  • Family-Owned Farms: Prioritize sourcing from family-owned farms to support sustainable local agriculture, promote an individualized touch in farming practices, and ensure diversity in the food supply.

  • Sustainable Practices: Farms must employ sustainable farming methods, such as rotational grazing, no-till farming, organic or non-GMO feed for livestock.
